Monday we read The Fantastic Undersea Life of Jacques Cousteau, and made baking soda dough sea creatures.
Here's some of our sketchnotes on Jacques Cousteau.
Tuesday we read about tropical fish, and created bubble art with rainbow fish. It's just so cool to dip the paper in the tray of colored bubbles and see what happens to the paper. It's beautiful!
Then today we read two amazing books about seahorses. One fiction and one informational.
We created tissue paper sea horses and used sharpies and transparencies to create "camouflage" for them. Aren't they just lovely!
We also shared some interesting seahorse facts through sketchnotes.
What a wonderful way to spend our last week together - reading and creating! I couldn't be more proud of each student for all that they have accomplished this year!
