On the first day of school we read My Teacher Is a Monster! (No, I Am Not.) by Peter Brown

We made a list of things we wanted our teachers to be, and drew teachers and monsters. Then later, we made this video together using iMovie on our iPads.

First Grade Class Schedule

We put up our schedule on the wall.

We noticed that stations, Social Studies / Science and math are the same amount of time. 

We used the same colors to make a pattern!
